When Nanox Vision was announced in June 2019, Nanox made it clear that it was all about wiping out the cancer menace from the face of the Earth:
"If we manage to reach the 1x1x1 vision, we will be able to help save over 8 million people every year with regard to cancer alone," said Ran Poliakine, Founder of nanox[sic]. "This is the true democratization of healthcare, in which medical imaging will be accessible to all people globally and will cease to be the privilege of the few. We estimate that the economic savings will reach over US$1 trillion per year! That is an astonishing amount of money, which can now be diverted to better uses. The implications of our technology are beyond significant to humanity as a whole."
Now that the fake ARC has been "marketed" in the United States for two weeks, it turns out it is indicated only for musculoskeletal tomosynthesis "adjunctive to conventional radiograph," that is, an absolutely-useless imaging modality, according to ACR AC.
But maybe it can still help cure some cancer?
Nope. Turns out, none of the common cancers can be detected with the device given its intended use as communicated to the FDA, even if it weren't completely fake (which it is, as no working ARC has ever been made).
